on meeting both parents so please plan to attend the tour and/or accompany your child to the interview.

4. Decisions will be mailed on February 28, 2012. Your reply is requested as soon as possible, but no later than March 9, 2012.
Tours and Child Interviews
Small group tours are given daily at 9:30am and 10:30am from October through January and last approximately 45 minutes. Both parents are encouraged to attend. The Child's Interview will take place on a different day and only one parent should accompany the child for this visit which takes place in the afternoon and lasts approximately 30 minutes. Interviews for Threes begin in late October. Due to their very young age, Toddler applicants will be seen beginning in December. Applicants for the Fours and Fives will be seen in January and February based on availability of places.
Admission Criteria
The criteria for accepting children are: the parents’ belief in the philosophy of the education espoused by the school, suitability of the program for the individual child, and the need of the school to maintain a balance of age, sex and personality types. Siblings and active participating members of Park Avenue Christian Church are given preference for placement.
Scholarship Fund
To increase diversity in its enrollment, the school has an active and broad program of reduced tuition for any child who would otherwise be unable to attend. The Parents Association annually conducts a fundraising drive to support the Scholarship Fund and the school is deeply committed to this endeavor. In considering enrolling a child, we hope that parents will be willing to support the scholarship fund and to welcome these families into the school community. Tuition grants are available to all members of the school community according to need. Families may receive full or partial tuition grants.
